Spot Sublimation
What is Spot Sublimation
Spot Sublimation is a scaled down version of Cut & Sew Sublimation. Your designs are smaller, but equally as vibrant and detailed. Designs are applied to products that are pre-assembled and therefore can not encompass whole areas of a product.
Why Choose Spot Sublimation?
Team's choose Spot Sublimation for designs that are slightly larger than silkscreened designs, have lots of color to them, or if they want to customize the font for their jersey numbers.
Designing for Spot Sublimation
Our standard design area for our pre-packaged pricing for spot sublimation is 10" x 14", but we can accommodate designs of various shapes and sizes. The maximum design size we can spot sublimate is 13" x 14" and pricing is dependent on the size of your design. Designs must be submitted in either a vector format (.ai, .eps, .pdf, or svg) or a .psd file. For vector based designs, all parts of the logo must be outlined as an object, including any text. All designs that are standard on each jersey, your team's logo for example, can be submitted as one file. All unique designs on gear (player names and/or numbers) must be submitted as part of an artboard within one file. We do request that team artists touch base with us for a quick conversation on setting this up to save on design time and potential art fees. Please contact Breakmark if you have any questions.

Please keep in mind the following when thinking about your design:
Please design using RGB colors, as that is how we will print your images and it will allow for more vibrant colors. If your designs are in CMYK format, or something else, colors will not sublimate properly. We do not scale designs for spot sublimation purposes, so please keep this in mind when designing for jerseys that are smaller in size (womens and youth sized jerseys). To keep pricing low, we ask you to submit your artwork and files to us print ready. Due to this, we do not check your art, so please ensure that all fonts, sizes of names/numbers and colors are correct.
There is no white ink for sublimation, so while this process can work on light colored garments, it works best on whites. Other light colors may work and we have had great success with columbia blue, pink, gold, vegas gold, silver, safety yellow and safety orange; please contact Breakmark to discuss your specific designs. Take a look and check out this sweet design on a columbia jersey.
